About The Position

About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 05 The Role: We are looking for a motivated, technically curious Software Engineering Intern to join our Commercial Technology team. You will work alongside experienced engineers to build, maintain, and enhance client-facing and internal platforms across a modern full-stack environment.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Exposure to one or more of: Java, React JS, Angular JS, or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Git and REST APIs
• Interest in GenAI and emerging technologies

Responsibilities

• Develop features across front-end (React JS, Angular JS) and back-end (Java, Spring Boot) platforms
• Work with PostgreSQL databases to support data retrieval and optimisation
• Contribute to GenAI and LLM integration initiatives within commercial platforms
• Support content management workflows using DotCMS
• Participate in agile ceremonies — standups, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to support testing and releases
