Apex Fintech Solutions is looking for a Software Engineering Intern (AI Engineering) with unbounded potential for a development team on the front lines of Apex's high-volume, high-availability trade clearing suite. We partner with some of the industry's hottest next-generation stock trading products. You'll be at the center of rapidly scaling services that will test your limits.   • Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Collaborate with the software engineering team to design new features and functionalities.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Help in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects and issues.
  • Test LLM integrations, conversational interfaces, and RAG retrieval accuracy.
  • Contribute to the documentation of software development processes and codebases.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices in software engineering.
  • Analyze application logs, trace API calls, and help identify system issues.
  • Document AI system configurations, create test cases, and verify functionality across environments.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Senior standing, May 2026 graduate
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • General interest in Fintech.
  • Experience or Projects involving AI
