At Cboe Global Markets, we are dedicated to building trusted markets powered by our people. Our internship program is designed to inspire interns to tackle complex challenges collaboratively, as we believe that what we do matters. As a leading provider of market infrastructure and tradable products, Cboe delivers innovative trading, clearing, and investment solutions to market participants globally. Interns at Cboe will have the opportunity to work across various departments, applying their skills in their field of interest while gaining insights into Exchange technology and operations through our comprehensive Options Institute courses. The internship program is built on three foundational pillars: develop, educate, and network. We aim to provide each intern with a real-world working experience that fosters academic, professional, and personal growth. Candidates should be adaptable, enthusiastic, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, time-sensitive financial and technical environment. Interns will enjoy the flexibility of working two days remotely and three days in the office each week at one of our state-of-the-art locations in Chicago, Kansas City, or New York City. To qualify for this internship, applicants must be enrolled in a university or college program and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the year in which the internship occurs. The internship runs from June to August, culminating in a final presentation and retreat. The Cboe Clearing team is currently seeking a Software Engineering Development intern. This dynamic team is responsible for clearing futures products for large financial institutions, including FCMs, market makers, and liquidity providers. The intern will assist with various engineering and documentation projects, gaining valuable experience in Software Engineering, product lifecycle management, and Data Analytics. Interns will be expected to work on small software projects, create clear and concise documentation for technical offerings, and acquire knowledge about our clearing products and distributed systems related to finance and futures trading. Daily standups with the engineering team will be part of the experience, and regular commuting to the Chicago office is required.
