About The Position

At Teradyne, our Cooperative Education and Internship program is designed to deliver meaningful, fast paced and real-life work experiences that are relevant to your career and academic goals. Our program offers practical work experience in a business environment, with the opportunity to contribute and add value to the organization. Design, implement, and test of software on large-scale multi-functional projects. These projects develop Windows-based tools, applications, and instrument drivers; as well as embedded real-time control software.

Requirements

• Be a current student working towards a BS/BA/MS in Computer Science, or Electrical or Computer Engineering degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Knowledge of C/C++, .NET and/or C# is required.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms is essential.
• Experience with programming operating systems and comfortable with OS concepts (i.e. multiple processes, threads, mutual exclusion, semaphores, shared resources).
• Experience working as part of a team, delivering projects against set milestones.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Coop / Intern experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardware control and embedded programming is a plus.
• Prior Teradyne Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
