Our positions are located in Moorestown, NJ. We are hiring Software Engineering Interns for this coming 2026 summer.

Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required
  • This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s)
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university with a minimum of 30 credit hours (sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply)
  • Basic knowledge of UNIX-like Operating Systems (i.e., Linux, Solaris, IRIX) and operating system administration (i.e., Red Hat Enterprise / CentOS Linux)
  • Coursework in areas including software development, object-oriented analysis and design, Python, JAVA, C/C++
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Good written and spoken communication including developing technical documentation
  • Desire to work in the field of "software engineering" with a variety of programming languages such as Python, JAVA, C/C++ (Linux and Windows OS)
  • Ability to work on-site in Moorestown, NJ full-time in the summers with possible part-time (5 or more hours) during the school year

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with publish/subscribe architectures such as DDS; CI/CD/DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins; agile systems and/or bug tracking systems such as Atlassian Jira; Agile methodologies such as scrum, user stories, sprints, etc.; data analysis; requirements tracking systems such as DOORS; cyber security; systems/software integration; and the Aegis Weapon System, its related systems, other real-time mission critical systems, or other weapons systems are pluses.
