About The Position
The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Advisors, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. The role involves providing expert professional leadership on complex engineering and information technology assignments and projects. The candidate will participate in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, from requirements gathering to design and implementation, ensuring that business needs are being addressed. The position requires working with senior staff to define standards, patterns, and frameworks to deliver initiatives, as well as providing thought leadership within Information Management while working on broader projects that require an understanding of the wider business. Additionally, the candidate will participate in process improvement and cross-departmental IT initiatives, and in the delivery of a definitive enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making capabilities across the enterprise via analytics and reporting. The role demands considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives, as well as supporting production research and resolution recommendations. Partial work from home benefit is available, and 15% domestic travel to other company sites is required.
