We are looking for a passionate software engineer with experience in designing, implementing, testing and operating enterprise scale services, that power various features in Docusign software products and excel at collaborating with partners. This position will demand critical thinking skills, ability to quickly understand existing systems and the ability to work in agile environments. The ability to take smart and educated risks is essential to the success of this position. You enjoy fast-paced entrepreneurial environments where you can solve difficult problems using the latest technologies and tools. You will primarily develop customer facing experiences using React/Typescript, as well as backend API code either in Node.JS. You collaborate well with other team members when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions. You will also help the team succeed by thinking about ways to improve processes, suggesting ways to make the team more effective, and mentoring and modeling engineering best practices.

  • Design, develop and maintain well crafted, responsive, accessible and modular UI, using React and Typescript
  • Design, develop, and maintain API endpoints and associated logic, using Node.JS, C#
  • Use code coverage tools and testing patterns involving unit integration and e2e tests with Playwright, Jest or similar test frameworks
  • Build and maintain microservices and micro-frontend architectures
  • Ensure that UI and our entire stack enables responsive and seamless user experiences and functionality
  • Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiency
  • Solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team, proactively getting alignment on designs and communicating roadblocks to unblock self & others, enabling fast iteration cycles
  • Be an active team player working with others on design and code reviews
  • B.S. in Computer Science or similar field of study
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Fullstack software development with both frontend and backend technology, like React, Typescript, C#, Node, Java or other OOP
  • 2+ years of professional experience in designing backend APIs using frameworks and patterns like Express, REST, GraphQL, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience developing complex customer facing JavaScript web apps
  • Professional experience with client-side frameworks (such as React, Angular or similar modern JS frameworks)
  • Experience with Microsoft technology stack (e.g., C#, .NET, ASP.NET)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS along with observability tools like DataDog, Prometheus or similar
  • Experience with SQL databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database, SQL Server) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB)
  • Experience with Enterprise SaaS software products with focus on accessibility and internationalization
  • Knowledge of service reliability and incident response standard methodologies
