About The Position

The Software Engineer at CNH Industrial America LLC in Racine, WI will focus on mission planning which involves path plans, logistics, and agronomic operations for autonomous agricultural equipment. Research, write, develop, test, and evaluate software programs. Collaborate with teams to facilitate deployment related to software programs. Determine purpose, application, and feasibility of new or enhancement of existing software. Create and update documentation for designs, and all phases of the project. Collaborate with external customers to troubleshoot and solve matters. Coordinate engineering efforts and providing engineering assistance to internal teams or external customers. Maintain new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications. Provide and assist in training efforts related to new or existing software. Provide support for quote or request for quote process. Promote the division's quality management system in accordance with ISO standards. Position is 100% remote. Salary $84,375 - $140,625 p/yr.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, robotics engineering, mechanical engineering or directly related field.
  • 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience with path planning algorithms, including path optimization and collision avoidance techniques.
  • Designing and implementing efficient, end-to-end motion planning processes across the entire robotics system.
  • Solving complex mathematical problems for path planning and robotics applications.
  • Applied research, development, and transitioning innovations into scalable robotics products.
  • Experience with C++, Robotic Operating System (ROS), and relevant build systems for efficient development, testing, and deployment.
  • Integrating real-time sensor feedback into adaptive path planning solutions.
