Job duties include designing, developing, and implementing customized enterprise-wide software applications and packages to meet the client's internal and external business needs. The role involves reviewing, fixing, and modifying software programs to ensure technical accuracy, reliability, and scalability of programs. Additionally, the engineer will analyze specifications, communications, data points, and programming requirements gathered per client's requests and approvals. Adherence to the software development life cycle process, best practices, and procedures is essential. The position also requires coordinating installation, implementation, upgrades, migration, porting, and synchronization of software applications. Responsibilities include coding, programming, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications, as well as training end-users on the use of software applications and providing troubleshooting and debugging support. The engineer will administer and maintain production systems running on multiple technology frameworks and environments to reduce downtime and eliminate application performance issues.
