About The Position
nCino offers exciting career opportunities for individuals who want to join the worldwide leader in cloud banking. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a high-performing Agile development team focused on problem solving and innovative product development. You will work with and support other Software Engineers, applying training in information technology and computer programming to the design, modification, and maintenance of applications programs. This role requires a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and the nCino Bank Operating System Application, as well as the ability to participate fully as a member of a Scrum development team. In this position, you will demonstrate the ability to independently problem solve and research solutions, completing complex coding tasks with care. You will be responsible for providing careful code reviews, following code standards, and adhering to the established development process. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of cross-team, framework-level projects with input from senior developers and participate in design sessions with a focus on suggesting solutions. Understanding the business domain, data model, and design of the code base for the nCino product is essential, as is participating in discussions around sprint and backlog prioritization from a technical perspective. As you grow in this role, you will continually deepen your knowledge of the technologies (languages, frameworks, etc.) used by nCino and the craft of coding and design. Communication and collaboration with your team will be key, as you will need to facilitate collaboration effectively. Being a great teammate is crucial; you will need to carry your load, help other teammates, and adapt easily to changing product needs based on customer and market demands.
