About The Position

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Intrepid Solutions team. You will help design, prototype, implement, and maintain unique software solutions that are deployed on government client’s infrastructure. Above all, you should be highly motivated to do awesome work, curious about technology, and love working with a team of like-minded people. While specific experience relevant to current needs is important, we are most interested in engineers who are able to effectively learn and grow as the work requires.

Requirements

Active Top Secret / SCI TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+) certification, required.
Five (5) years of experience web development front and back end.
Experience with web front end development using React or Angular.
Experience with RESTful web services.
Experience with server-side languages, such as Golang, NodeJS, Python.
Experience with Linux operating systems.
Experience with Docker/Podman (containerized deployment).
Experience with version control software (ex Git).
Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA.

Nice To Haves

Ten (10) years of experience developing front and back end.
Experience with Authentication/Authorization/Security related development (Keycloak, Open Policy Agent, OIDC, OAuth2) is a plus.
Experience utilizing NoSQL databases, such as Elastic, MongoDB is a plus.
Experience with Kubernetes, Istio, Helm is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins is a plus.
Preferred language experience: Angular, React, TypeScript, Java, Python.

Responsibilities

Design and implement new capabilities.
Resolve issues found in existing code.
Integrate capabilities with external services and tools.
