About The Position

Come build community, explore your passions, and do your best work at Microsoft. At Microsoft, we are a company of learn‑it-alls rather than know-it-alls, with a culture centered on growth mindset, inspiring excellence, and empowering teams to do their best work every day. Our team builds and evolves foundational platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to deliver features safely, operate services reliably, and respond quickly when issues occur. You’ll join a collaborative engineering team where you’ll ship production code, learn operational excellence practices, and work with partners across disciplines. You’ll build confidence navigating a large codebase, improving quality through testing and telemetry, and contributing to well-scoped features that matter. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to well-defined features and improvements, implement and test code, and learn how to operate and support production services. You’ll work with a technical lead and partners (e.g., program management) to understand requirements, break down work, and deliver reliably while growing your engineering judgment and skills. Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
