About The Position

This team is seeking a Software Engineer responsible for developing ground and flight software for missions to the Moon and beyond. Requirements

B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional work experience required.
5-8 years of experience with spacecraft software systems, system architecture and/or mission control systems.
Manages components of projects independently, balancing technical work with light mentoring of newcomers.
Cultivates Innovation Actively participates in design reviews and technical discussions; offers constructive feedback.
Demonstrates self-driven learning and continuous improvement; identifies gaps in skills and proactively seeks solutions.
Begins to influence project direction through proposal of innovative solutions.
Tackles complex, ambiguous problems requiring synthesis of information from multiple technical domains and stakeholders.
Ability to work in the Westminster, CO office 5 days/week during core business hours.
Applicants must be a US Citizen
Top Secret Security Clearance required

Responsibilities

Able to write and debug basic code.
Working on design principles applicable to medium scale efforts.
Awareness of software lifecycle stages and basic principles to follow within each
Limited familiarity with industry tools and best practices.
Working on estimating skills for small (< 2 weeks) tasks.
Strong willingness to learn industry-specific tools, libraries, and operating systems.
