About The Position

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Developer, or related occupation.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Java and J2EE.
  • Two (2) years of experience in AWS, Azure, or PCF for deploying and managing large- scale complex applications in the cloud
  • Two (2) years of experience in Either Angular or React for building dynamic user interfaces
  • Two (2) years of experience in Docker and Kubernetes for container management
  • Any amount of experience in Spring Framework, Spring Boot
  • Any amount of experience in Hibernate for ORM and database interaction
  • Any amount of experience in SOAP and REST web services
  • Any amount of experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures
  • Any amount of experience in domain-driven design principles to create scalable and maintainable systems
  • Any amount of experience in version control software GIT
  • Any amount of experience in Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
  • Any amount of experience in Oracle and RDBMS
  • Any amount of experience in SQL fine-tuning
  • Any amount of experience in NoSQL database Cassandra
  • Any amount of experience in carrying out modeling and optimization for NoSQL databases
  • Any amount of experience in Shell Scripting
  • Any amount of experience in Maven and Terraform
  • Any amount of experience in JUnit and Cucumber for testing
  • Any amount of experience in performance testing using JMeter or any comparable tool
  • Any amount of experience in Splunk for log analysis and monitoring

  • Any amount of experience in fine- tuning applications for better response times
  • Any amount of experience in Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming
  • Any amount of experience in performance tuning for high throughput, low latency on multi-cluster Kafka
  • Any amount of experience in Apache Tomcat for deploying high-traffic, high-availability Java applications
  • Any amount of experience in debugging and troubleshooting including identifying and fixing memory leaks with splunk and dynatrace
  • Any amount of experience in working in UNIX and Linux environments
  • Any amount of experience in NodeJS for server-side scripting
  • Any amount of experience in XML and JSON for data interchange
  • Any amount of experience in Cloud Foundry such as PaaS solutions
  • Any amount of experience in performing large- scale data processing and handling high-traffic applications for real time data processing.
