About The Position

The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to serve as the lead to modernize a client critical mission system? You'll have the chance to contribute to transitioning mission data flows from legacy systems to a modernized data flow architecture, defining technical and process improvements to achieve improved mission performance and compliance. Work as part of an Agile team and interact directly with customers to understand their needs to develop solutions and solve complex problems. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. We’re looking for a developer with the advanced skills needed to build client tools from vision to production-ready system. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you guide your clients through migration planning and implementation. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new met hodologies. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems, including RHEL 5, RHEL 6, or CentOS 7
• 2+ years of experience with scripting, including Python or Java
• 2+ years of experience with C or C++
• 2+ years of experience implementing socket connection and packet processing design, coding, testing, and troubleshooting
• 2+ years of experience with a data sample analytic database or infrastructure, including SQL, SQLite, ElasticStack, GrFana, Kibana, Kubernetes, or Docker
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in a CS or Engineering field

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with MySQL or Oracle databases
• Experience with Agile development
• Experience with scripting languages such as C-Shell, Java, JavaScript, Bash, Python, Bourne, or Perl
• Experience with SQL language scripting
• Experience with web development
• Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.

• Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
• The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
• The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
