About The Position

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study
Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Developer, or related occupation
Five (5) years of experience in Java and J2EE
Two (2) years of experience in AWS, Azure, or PCF for deploying and managing large- scale complex applications in the cloud
Two (2) years of experience in Either Angular or React for building dynamic user interfaces
Two (2) years of experience in Docker and Kubernetes for container management
Experience in Spring Framework, Spring Boot
Experience in Hibernate for ORM and database interaction
Experience in SOAP and REST web services
Experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures
Experience in domain-driven design principles to create scalable and maintainable systems
Experience in version control software GIT
Experience in Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
Experience in Oracle and RDBMS
Experience in SQL fine-tuning
Experience in NoSQL database Cassandra
Experience in carrying out modeling and optimization for NoSQL databases
Experience in Shell Scripting
Experience in Maven and Terraform
Experience in JUnit and Cucumber for testing
Experience in performance testing using JMeter or any comparable tool
Experience in Splunk for log analysis and monitoring
Experience in identifying, troubleshooting, and fixing performance bottlenecks
Experience in fine- tuning applications for better response times
Experience in Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming
Experience in performance tuning for high throughput, low latency on multi-cluster Kafka
Experience in Apache Tomcat for deploying high-traffic, high-availability Java applications
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting including identifying and fixing memory leaks with splunk and dynatrace
Experience in working in UNIX and Linux environments
Experience in NodeJS for server-side scripting
Experience in XML and JSON for data interchange
Experience in Cloud Foundry such as PaaS solutions
Experience in performing large- scale data processing and handling high-traffic applications for real time data processing
