About The Position

Configure and maintain Oracle Cloud infrastructure components/deployments infrastructure, Exadata, storage and resource maintenance. Ensure uptime and performance of mission-critical Oracle EBS and Weblogic enterprise systems that support global business operations. Ensure availability and performance tuning of databases that support the financial system. Provide growth trend analysis to enable informed decisions regarding resource/design management. Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle Apps and databases to ensure availability, scalability, and performance. Develop/enforce database policies, procedures, and standards to ensure system integrity and security. Administer Oracle WebLogic Server, which hosts EBS application services like Java Concurrent Manager, OAF pages, Self-Service modules, OID and OAM business critical applications. Lead troubleshooting efforts for Weblogic applications, JVM tuning and deployment of EAR/WAR files, data source configuration and WebLogic patching. Perform cloning and make lower environments available for development and testing team. Perform patching/code migrations in Oracle EBS and Oracle Exadata database, security and infrastructure patches for improving the security/functionality of databases and Apps. Coordinate with finance, supply chain, and reporting to ensure hierarchy and master data integrity for reporting/compliance through Master Data Management. Perform maintenance, cloning, patching and upgrades of the Oracle DRM application and its associated databases to ensure stability and performance in business reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional Tech teams to support application integrations. Lead database modernization efforts to align database technology with industry best practices. Lead, deploy and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Deployments. Coordinate with finance teams to ensure EPM environments meet reporting and audit timelines. Plan, budget and facilitate financial reports using Oracle EPM Cloud per business requirements by providing data trends and maintaining EPM Integrations. Manage user access, integrations and scheduled data loads using Data Management, EPM Automate and Smart View. Troubleshot workflow errors, concurrent program issues and data interface failures in coordination with functional analysts for Finance, HR Management System and Supply Chain Modules. Lead Oracle projects like EBS upgrades, WebLogic migrations, DR planning and OCI/EPM implementations. Act as liaison with IT, business units, vendors, and compliance teams during project lifecycle. Design and implement disaster recovery strategies for business-critical Oracle applications and databases using Oracle Data Guard, RMAN backups and OCI-native replication features, and address infrastructure failover scenarios to ensure continuity during disaster, database, or application failures. Work with DevOps/SRE teams on creation and deployment of Oracle EBS templates and coach them on database and application best practices. Monitor and optimize Oracle Cloud costs by tracking usage, setting alerts, analyzing consumption trends, and presenting monthly forecasts/recommendations to stakeholders for informed budgeting decisions. Identify security hardening scopes and implement encryption, auditing and access controls, while managing and renewing SSL certificates across web, WebLogic, and database tiers to ensure secure, compliant and uninterrupted application operations. Mitigate security vulnerabilities by implementing SOX compliance controls, automating audit data collection, maintaining Archer-based evidence for Oracle EBS Finance and enforcing regular password rotation aligned with industry. Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new database technologies and tools. Support multiple development, test and production environments for Oracle applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Oracle Apps Database Administrator, or in a related/similar position.
  • 8 years of experience in the following: Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS R12.2 Administration, Oracle Exadata Administration, Oracle EBS Modules, Scripting and Automation, Performance Tuning and Monitoring, Disaster Recovery and Vulnerability, Golden Gate Setup and Administration, OCI products deployment, Agile Oracle project handling, Oracle E-Business Suite application and database Administration, and Weblogic Administration.
  • 5 years of experience with Oracle Databases 19c Administration, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Disaster Recovery Automation, OCI products deployment, and Agile.
  • Hybrid role, ability to work from home.

Responsibilities
