In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support our business and mission objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions, while continuously improving your technical expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Professional experience in software development with proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript)
- Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, and version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and CI/CD practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable software
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance
Nice To Haves
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain software applications, services, and systems
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team standards
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver solutions that meet business and user needs
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, debug applications, and implement fixes
- Contribute to discussions on system design, architecture, and technology choices
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices
