We have an opening for a Full Stack Engineer to join the Fidelity Institutional Product & Business Enablement Technology (FIPBET) team. You will be part of a team designing, developing & implementing products that enable our FI Operational Service Group business partners, and you will have the opportunity to grow and develop professionally within the Fidelity organization. You will be a member of a scrum team (made up of other software engineers, software quality engineers, and systems analysts) responsible for delivering key customer features You will work closely with the product owner, IT project managers, systems analysts, architects, and other developers to design, build, test, and deliver the features that make up Fidelity Institutional’s internet experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in an Information Technology-related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in software application design & development
  • Desired skillset: object-oriented development - either Java/J2EE, Spring/SpringBoot, Angular/AngularJS, REST Services, Cloud, CI/CD
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of continuous integration, static code analysis, test automation, and test-driven development
  • You thrive in a team environment, collaborating openly with colleagues on shared items of work and communicating effectively
  • You are passionate about the software development craft and have an interest and flexibility to learn and develop using the latest technologies and frameworks
  • You promote Agile development practices & continuous improvement
  • You enjoy resolving issues and/or identifying approaches to solutions
  • You strive to improve engineering, architectural, and coding standards
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision and be a team player
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
