The Work We are seeking multiple level, experienced Software Engineers to support multiple Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) programs and participate in all phases of the Software engineering process. In this important role, you will collaborate in an Agile environment with other engineering disciplines and program personnel. Requirements

  • BS Degree in Engineering or STEM field
  • Minimum of 2 years' professional experience
  • Strong proficiency in C++, Java or Python
  • Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, build, and release
  • Hands‑on experience in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, pair programming) and familiarity with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
  • Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git
  • Practical knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Ability to write and maintain shell scripts (Bash, PowerShell) and automate tasks using frameworks such as JUnit, Robot, Sikuli
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test tools/techniques
  • Microsoft Azure/AWS, Google Cloud
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX command line, system administration, and virtual machine environments
  • Background in modeling and simulation development, including Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML tools (Rhapsody, Cameo), and requirements management (DOORS)
  • Familiarity with static code analysis, unit testing, and test automation frameworks
  • Experience with IDE tools such as Eclipse, NetBeans, or comparable environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting
