About the role: You will be working in our Austin, TX location responsible for designing, developing, testing, performance tuning, enhancing, maintaining, and documenting internal and external software that complies with project plans and industry standards. This role is a permanent position that involves working full-time and follows a hybrid schedule, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

You are eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and reside in Austin, TX . C2C will not be considered.
You have a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
You have 5+ years experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
You have hands-on experience designing interactive applications, developing software in C#, VB.Net, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, T-SQL, XML, and other selected languages, and developing web applications using .Net (Standard & Core), MVC, Web API, ORM, Dapper, and Entity Framework.
You have experience using web services, including SOA, REST, and SOAP, and web technologies, including AJAX and JSON.
You have excellent organizational and time management skills: You have the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects / assignments. You have excellent attention to detail and exhibit a reasonable sense of urgency.
Excellent communication skills: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You communicate in both a professional and friendly manner with coworkers.
Adaptable: You are eager to use new tools and learn new processes and technologies. You can adapt to changing priorities while working in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. You have excellent problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise.

Responsibilities

Execute full lifecycle software development
Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Document and maintain software functionality
Document requirements and specifications
Tailor and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics
Serve as a subject matter expert
Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards
