Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
  • Agile experience preferred
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, theories, and advanced design patterns

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing software in a Linux environment with strong Bash scripting skills
  • Proven experience leading Agile development teams or initiatives
  • Advanced proficiency in Java and/or C/C++
  • Experience with modern web technologies including React and TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with Qt Framework for complex applications
  • Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes and Docker)
  • Proficiency with Git workflows and branching strategies
  • Understanding of Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS)
  • Knowledge of submarine systems and operations
