Duties: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software applications, systems, or services, while troubleshooting and debugging code issues. Provide guidance on best practices and methodologies in software development. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and make architectural decisions, ensuring alignment with business goals. Responsible for the entire development process, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. Develop and implement technical solutions to complex problems, as well as conducting code reviews to improve code quality and maintainability. Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technology Consultant, Application Programmer, or related occupation.
  • The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technology Consultant, Application Programmer, or related occupation.
  • 5 years of experience with the following: Delivering and collaborating in functional and process-related support using technologies including Spring Boot, REST, Node.js, Angular, React, Jenkins, J2EE, shell script, Unix, CSS, Tomcat, and WebSphere.
  • Any amount of experience with the following: Delivering products to clients using Agile methodologies such as Scrum, and tools including JIRA, Confluence, Hybrid SDLC, Git, and bitbucket for version control and project management; Data manipulation and query optimization using Oracle, SQL Server, and backend technologies including Spring Batch, Hibernate, or MyBatis; Processing data sets using Artificial intelligence or Machine Learning; Developing software or microservices environments that deploy as REST APIs using Spring Boot and Maven; Testing functionality of Test APIs with tools including SOAP, Postman, and Cucumber; Managing log analytics with Dynatrace and Splunk for performance and system integration testing.
