About The Position

DESCRIPTION: Duties: Design, develop, and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take an active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

Requirements

Master's degree in Information Systems Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, System Analyst, Automation Test Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, System Analyst, Automation Test Engineer, or related occupation.
performing functional testing to validate business requirements
performing checklist driven, accessibility testing based on WCAG criteria, scenario and test scripts based manual testing
executing performance and load tests to ensure application stability and responsiveness
conducting regular regression cycles to verify stability of new and existing features
performing smoke testing to validate functionality before release
Collaborating with developers to ensure unit test coverage and validate isolated code behavior
supporting UAT efforts by aligning test scenarios with business use cases and tracking feedback
designing and architecting scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks including hybrid, data- driven, and keyword-driven frameworks
testing Restful and APIS using Postman
using cloud- based platforms including Browser Stack and Sauce Labs for cross-device and cross-browser compatibility testing
implementing testing strategies early in the development cycle using static code analysis, unit test coverage metrics, and continuous testing
collaborating with developers, business analysts, and DevOps team in an Agile and SCRUM environment to accelerate quality delivery
developing automation test frameworks
integrating automated test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
using cucumber for creating readable and maintainable test scenarios
developing web automation scripts using web driver for browser testing
managing test dependencies and build automation projects
AWS services for hosting, running, and scaling automated test environments
designing and executing UI automation tests using sage for mobile applications
setting up, configuring, and managing of test environment including containerization including Docker and orchestration including Kubernetes for scalable testing
developing custom test utilities using java libraries, and automation script to extend test coverage and enhance productivity
applying AI-driven testing tools including Applitools
building and executing automated test suites for mobile and web platforms
using Android studio for test development and debugging Android application
developing and maintaining Android UI test cases using Espresso for functional and regression testing
writing test cases and automation scripts for Android using Kotlin
writing automated UI test cases for iOS apps
writing Audit tool automation tests and debugging
automating tasks and UI interactions for mobile applications
implementing end-to-end web and Mobile UI test automation using cypress with java script and type script
designing and implementing AXE automation framework using Java Script and Cypress
testing accessibility compliance based on WCAG 2.1 standards
