About The Position

DESCRIPTION: Duties: Support system design and development of data platforms for consumers. Design and develop user interfaces. Develop and maintain Rest API backend to support the user interface. Perform root cause analysis for issues reported by users. Provide diagnostic support and bug fixing for the current codebase. Follow standard operating procedures to ensure all infrastructure and software meet regulatory requirements. Participate in Agile working practices including sprint planning, backlog review, and retrospectives. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Test/Staff Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Software Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Information Systems, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Test/Staff Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Software Developer, or related occupation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Test/Staff Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Software Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Information Systems, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Test/Staff Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Software Developer, or related occupation.
• Five (5) years of experience with the following: Designing and developing software with C#, JAVA, or Python; Developing user interfaces using JavaScript, Angular, or ReactJS; Performing data manipulation and query optimization using programming languages including SQL and Python; Developing data platforms using cloud services; Developing REST API applications hosted on cloud; Performing log analysis using tools including Splunk and CloudWatch; Utilizing tools such as Jenkins for CI/CD.
