About The Position

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code- related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Application Architect, Web Developer, Technology Analyst, Software Developer, or related occupation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Application Architect, Web Developer, Technology Analyst, Software Developer, or related occupation.
  • Experience with designing and developing features using technologies including Java and J2EE
  • Experience with containerized services utilizing tools including Docker and Skaffold
  • Experience with deploying microservices to the AWS EKS environment
  • Experience with writing JUnit and Karate integration tests for comprehensive end-to-end testing
  • Experience with automating infrastructure deployments using Terraform
  • Experience with designing microservices with tools including Spring Boot and Hibernate
  • Experience with creating Liquibase scripts with SQL to automate backend database creation
  • Experience with developing automation scripts using Python
  • Experience with writing SQL statements to replicate application metadata to OpenSearch
  • Experience with onboarding Dynatrace for monitoring AWS infrastructure to enhance observability
  • Experience with integrating CI/CD pipelines using tools including Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Spinnaker
  • Experience with performing code reviews and documentation using Bitbucket, Git, and Confluence
  • Experience with conducting performance, regression, and functional testing to improve application robustness
