About The Position

DESCRIPTION: Duties: Drive software development projects from conception to completion, defining scope, setting timelines, and ensuring milestones are met. Make technical decisions on software architecture and design, selecting technologies, tools, and frameworks that fit project requirements and align with company strategy. Ensure that software solutions align with business goals and user requirements, facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Identify and address potential risks in the development process, developing contingency plans and solutions to ensure project progression. Maintain and optimize existing software systems, troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and ensure efficiency, scalability, and security. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by exploring new methodologies and tools. Maintain comprehensive documentation of software designs, architectures, and processes to ensure accessibility, and prepare detailed reports on project status and outcomes for stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant, Software Programmer, or related occupation. Skills Required: This position requires 7 years of experience with the following: Full stack development for distributed computing environments using Java, Spring, React, Cassandra, and MySQL; Deploying applications using Spring Boot and Spring State Machine; Managing authentication, CSRF protection, and session management using Spring Security protocols; Implementing microservices and serverless architecture for scalable and maintainable systems; Developing large-scale systems for managing data using JSON, Parquet, AVRO, and XML; Managing concurrency and multithreading using the Executor framework; Implementing model-driven and test-driven development using Cucumber and Puppeteer; Implementing distributed messaging and real-time data streaming using Kafka, IBM MQ, and RabbitMQ; Integrating SWIFT messages using SWIFT Prowide software; Creating dynamic user interfaces using ReactJS and AngularJS; Managing states using JavaScript, HTML5, TypeScript, and Redux; Delivering scalable software using AWS and Pivotal Cloud; Building containerized applications using AWS ECS Fargate, EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, and Aurora RDS; Performance tuning MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra databases for optimizing queries and throughput; Managing version control using Git; Implementing continuous integration and development using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code; Building dashboards for actionable insights and monitoring system performance using observability tools including Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Datadog; Managing dependencies and automating builds using Maven and Gradle. This position requires 2 years of experience with the following: Developing solutions for enhanced digital transactions using distributed ledger technology on the Ethereum-based Quorum platform; Developing smart contracts using Solidity on Ethereum; Creating decentralized applications for transparency and security; Conducting Ethereum development using Truffle and Hardhat for smart contract deployment; Delivering software solutions for trading, custody, and settlement structures for equities and derivatives.
