About The Position
DAT Freight Solutions is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join our innovative team. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work from either our Denver, Colorado or Beaverton, Oregon offices. As a Software Engineer at DAT, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to building exceptional customer-facing software. You will work within a full stack TypeScript ecosystem, utilizing Node.js and Angular to develop reliable, maintainable, and scalable code. Your contributions will be pivotal in establishing a new generation of microservices that support the entry point into DAT's load board software, enhancing the experience for our millions of customers. In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks, from building microservices to creating compelling user experiences using the latest web technologies. You will collaborate closely with product, UX, and analytics teams to design and deliver outstanding user experiences. Your responsibilities will include participating in design and code reviews, writing unit and integration tests, and documenting software designs and project tasks. You will also be expected to translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring that the software solutions you develop align with customer requirements and expectations.
