  • Design and implement scalable distributed applications and Big Data pipelines that solve a wide range of business critical use cases.
  • Design and optimize data modeling for a given business requirement.
  • Develop the code and its deployment (quality code, abide to coding principles, ownership of the code).
  • Develop and follow standards and best practices throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Keep update with the latest technologies trend and various cloud technologies and its infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the data team, Infrastructure Engineers and Data Scientists to recognize and help adopt best practices in data gathering and transforming big data.
  • Interface directly with Business Stakeholders, gather requirements and own automated end-to-end data engineering solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technologies, Electrical Engineering or related field plus 5 years related experience.
  • Any level of experience with design and develop production ready solutions using big data technologies including pyspark, Hadoop, S3, Hive, Python, Kafka, Airflow, GCP tools, cloud services/open source and languages including SQL, Scala, Shell and python to implement custom ETL orchestrations with ensured accuracy.
  • Any level of experience with design and implement business analytics solutions such as modeling and analytical processing that gives exposure to wide functional dataset and enables actionable insights via collaboration with business to convert them into technical design using technologies such as LucidChart, Tableau and Smartsheet.
  • Any level of experience with design data lifecycle management such as clickstream and traffic data using in house tools and technologies with Spark, Scala, BigData, Teradata and MySQL within large-scale data-warehouse including optimizations for performance and scalability.
  • Any level of experience with mentor and lead efforts for effective Standards and Best Practices on ETL implementation, data governance across datamarts and tools including ZombieRunner and Salesforce, DealFactory or Zendesk.
