About The Position

The Software Engineer position at McKesson Corporation involves developing internal and client-facing tools to manage prescription drug data. Requirements

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Node, MySQL, and Bootstrap (2 years).
• Experience in Python, Talend, Laravel, VueJS, Mocha, and PHP Storm (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Develop internal and client-facing tools for managing prescription drug data.
• Create an internal tool for reducing prescription drug costs and a demo account generator tool.
• Write Python scripts to automate the report generation process.
• Develop dashboards, data entry, and visualization portals using ReactJS, ChartJS, and PHP.
• Develop and deploy REST APIs on the office server.
• Implement process automation to save resources and improve efficiency.
• Engage in data engineering for data ingestion using Talend Studio and Databricks.
• Collaborate with teams and perform code reviews.
• Mentor teammates and work with stakeholders on requirements gathering and technical planning.
• Propose and lead process improvements.
• Write test cases to verify code and ensure maximum unit testing coverage.
• Responsible for post-production maintenance of applications.
