About The Position

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer who will provide software development support on a model repository. Developer will require to have full-stack experience and desire to span front-end (JavaScript, React) to back-end (MongoDB).

Requirements

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• This position requires in-scope poly, within 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance web applications using JavaScript frameworks.
• Implement and optimize backend services and APIs using Java.
• Integrate Elasticsearch to support efficient search, indexing and retrieval.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Monitor application performance and address any issues with availability, scalability, or data accuracy.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
