Blackhawk Network is seeking a Software Engineer to provide software engineering life-cycle ownership of its products and technologies. The role involves developing Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud-based transaction-processing solutions using both traditional and emerging technologies. The engineer will be responsible for creating products that are performant, scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant with automated failover capabilities. Additionally, the position requires creating systems that can be easily triaged to identify performance bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis of failure scenarios. The engineer will also create automated product deployment mechanisms for development, QA, and production environments, participate in standard scrum processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Blackhawk systems. The role includes interfacing with product architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to establish technical requirements and evaluate solutions.
