Join us at Lockheed Martin as an Software Engineer where you will work on the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program. Location: This position does not support teleworking ; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Sunnyvale CA and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. What does this role look like? You will work on a dynamic team environment performing software engineering tasks in support of the THAAD Missile Test Equipment (MTE) team. The THAAD Missile Test Equipment is responsible for maintaining several production missile test consoles deployed at a remote production test facility. Production support for the consoles includes diagnosing root cause for issues found during missile testing and deploying software updates to resolve the issue to enable efficient production test operations. The MTE group is also responsible for maintaining and support several remote, ruggedized test consoles that are deployed and support CONUS and OCONUS missions. There are opportunities to support the consoles at their test sites. The team is looking for motivated members who can rapidly support planning, execution, and coordination of software development activities. We need you to adhere to or define appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle and be capable of rapidly designing, implementing, documenting and deploying robust software solutions.
