JumpCloud is looking for a passionate and driven Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our team, focusing on Software Management. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career and make a significant impact on a product used by millions of users worldwide. As an Engineer at JumpCloud, you'll be at the heart of our mission to simplify IT and security for organizations everywhere. You'll work alongside a team of experienced engineers, contributing to the development and enhancement of our Software Management features. This includes everything from developing new features that help administrators easily deploy and update software, to ensuring the scalability and reliability of our services.

  • Building user-friendly experiences: You'll contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from designing and coding new features to ensuring they are easy for our customers to use.
  • Collaborating with your team: You'll work closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers to bring new features to life.
  • Solving complex problems: You'll tackle challenging technical problems related to software deployment, package management, and system performance.

  • A recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with at least one programming language such as Go, C++, Rust, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • A passion for technology and a desire to learn new things.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
