Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably with a focus on trust, safety, or security systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience building and scaling high-quality, high-traffic applications or systems.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate and design effective solutions.
• Proven ability to drive alignment, manage projects, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Hands-on coding experience with modern programming languages and software engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with large-scale data processing and verification workflows is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and implement solutions for identity and business verification systems.
• Enhance fraud detection and misuse prevention mechanisms using emerging user signals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, refine strategies, and prioritize engineering solutions.
• Build, test, and productionize systems that operate at scale on large datasets.
• Continuously monitor and improve verification workflows and detection defenses.
• Contribute to operational processes and provide insights to reduce risk and enhance platform safety.
