About The Position
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be self-driven to work across various organizations across Apple, balance multiple assignments in parallel, and have the acumen and strength to persuade and influence stakeholders. The candidate also needs to show initiative, ability to take ownership of a problem area, and demonstrate an ability to understand the group's technology in the larger context of the product and services. The role will require close collaboration with various cross-functional development and performance teams, and will benefit from a candidate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and having a passion for improving User Experience in Mobile environments.As a Software Engineer - Tools u0026 Automation in the Networking Operations team, you will be responsible for accelerating software development workflows for bug triage, continuous integration and presubmission testing. Your role will include: implementation of scripts and tools to support our engineering development workflow creation of reports and dashboards to improve our submission and triage operations troubleshooting of networking related features, across a variety of Apple platforms
Requirements
- Experience with large language models (Apple Foundation Models, Claude, Gemini, or other LLMs)
- Experience with macOS and iOS development tools (Xcode, Instruments, XCUITest)
- Experience with search and analytics engines like Splunk or Elastic Search
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to stay focused and prioritize a heavy workload while achieving extraordinary quality
- Experience with Network debugging tools (e.g. packet sniffers, protocol analyzers, ...)
Nice To Haves
- Lab management experience and configuration of network equipments (Switches, Routers, NATs, Firewalls, VMs, …) in lab environment a plus
- Wireless and Cellular technologies experience a plus
