About The Position

At PNC, the Software Engineer within the Technology organization is responsible for developing, testing, and implementing software solutions. This includes designing solutions to business needs, writing code, testing, deploying, preparing technical and procedural documentation, and maintaining/debugging software. The role emphasizes customer focus and effective risk management within PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework. The position is based in Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL, Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, Oh or Denver, CO, and PNC operates as an in-office company.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in API testing
  • Database experience
  • Experience with Selenium-based test automation
  • Hands-on experience with accessibility testing
  • Proven ability to create and maintain comprehensive test documentation
  • Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for defect tracking and collaboration
  • Solid understanding of performance testing concepts
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong ability to thoroughly analyze and understand business and technical requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners
  • University/college degree (Bachelor's)
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience (or comparable combination of education, certification, and experience)
