Meta is seeking an AI Software Engineer to join our Research & Development teams, focusing on Systems ML and SW/HW Co-design. The ideal candidate will have industry experience working on AI Infrastructure related topics. This position involves leveraging your skills to tackle some of the most crucial and exciting problems that exist on the web. We are hiring in multiple locations, including Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for applying relevant AI infrastructure and hardware acceleration techniques to build and optimize our intelligent ML systems that enhance Meta's products and user experiences. You will set goals related to project impact, AI system design, and infrastructure/developer efficiency. Your work will involve directly influencing partners to deliver impactful results through deep, thorough data-driven analysis. You will drive large efforts across multiple teams, define use cases, and develop methodologies and benchmarks to evaluate different approaches. A deep understanding of how the ML infrastructure interacts with surrounding systems is essential. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor other engineers and research scientists, contributing to the overall improvement of engineering quality within the broader team.
