As a Software Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining C++ code for secure processing applications, developing new applications and maintaining legacy code utilized in other applications, maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deliver both prototype and fully capable systems, and ensuring software solutions meet stringent security and performance standards. This work is conducted in a classified environment and is fulltime onsite in Owego, NY.

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining C++ code for secure processing applications.
  • Developing new applications and maintaining legacy code utilized in other applications.
  • Maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deliver both prototype and fully capable systems.
  • Ensuring software solutions meet stringent security and performance standards.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution with 5 years experience or Master's degree and 3 years related experience.
  • Proficiency in C++ programming.
  • Knowledge of hardware communication protocols such as PCIe, SPI, and I2C.
  • Experience creating and configuring embedded Linux images.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.
  • 2 or more years of Embedded Software engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with assembly C.
  • Comfortable developing test plans and documents for Software Verification.
  • Experience developing boot applications prior to OS coming up.
  • DevSecOps experience.
