In this role, you will serve as an experienced Software Engineering professional, specializing in release planning and coordination, software release management, Program Trouble Report (PTR) management and coordination for all aspects of RMS Software Engineering efforts for Naval Helicopter Programs (NHP).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Sciences with 12+ years of professional experience or related Masters degree with 10+ years of professional experience or 16+ years of related experience with the MH-60 aircraft systems and operations
• Experience with software development life cycle including software verification, problem analysis and resolution, software integration and test
• Experience leading and coordinating with large teams
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level
• Must be a US Citizen

• Ability to read and use technical schematics, drawings, software specs, and manuals along with other technical materials to resolve complex problems

• Very strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Define and manage branch/merge strategies for all software NHP baselines and configurations
• Represent the software organization on the Baseline Management team, managing software releases of all NHP baselines and configurations
• Primary software interface with our naval customer
• Software metrics collection, analysis, and presentation to the customer
• Build and manage software sub-product build-ups into our deliverable product to the customer
• Overall software PTR coordination
• Manage and maintain NHP software processes and procedures
• Ensure software team is adhering to documented NHP software processes and procedures
• Provide input and support for cost, schedule, and technical performance goals for NHP software
