As a Software Engineer you are part of the program team which strives to, not only meet, but exceed our customers’ expectations. Software Engineers support computational systems architecture and system software for real-time simulation applications; create new and modified simulation models using established modeling techniques; and work closely with other engineering disciplines. The Software Engineer works in the Training System Support Center (TSSC) in support of the B-2 Aircrew and Maintenance Trainers. Software Engineers analyze requirements and develop software to model and simulate B-2 aircraft (real-time applications), test systems, and integrate / debug / document software programs that meet the requirements. The qualified candidate will be able to apply software engineering methods to develop or modify mathematical models and algorithms to simulate real-time systems. Required to learn and become proficient in a variety of software languages and tools. Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. Uses appropriate standards, processes, procedures, documentation, and support tools throughout the product lifecycle. Essential to be completely customer orientated, interfacing routinely to provide effective solutions and feedback on projects.
