As a Software Engineer Senior within PNC's Lending Technology - Home Lending Originations organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Downers Grove, IL, Miamisburg, OH, or Jacksonville, FL. This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Lending Technology - Home Lending Originations, you work with other crew members to implement new system configuration changes and solve business problems related to First Mortgage and Home Equity products. The Software Engineer Sr will partner with other Software Engineers as well as developers to provide system configuration solutions to meet our business requirements Job Description Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Writes code, tests and deploys software. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software. Maintains and debugs software. Responsibilities

  • Participate in identifying, evaluating and configuring systems to meet our business needs and standards.
  • Actively participate in daily stand ups, retros and demonstrations of product output.
  • Support crews in Agile@PNC methodologies.
  • Escalate to appropriate resource when issues occur.
  • Collaborate with any vendor partners on planning and escalations.
  • Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Writes code, tests and deploys software.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
  • Maintains and debugs software.
