About The Position

Our team leads the full lifecycle of embedded and mission software development, covering requirements, architecture, design, implementation, integration, and test. Our expertise includes air vehicle systems, avionics, communications, and infrastructure software, along with supplier and subsystem integration. We manage CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps automation, and simulation environments, ensuring compliance with airworthiness, safety, and cybersecurity standards. We support aircraft integration, GNC, and hardware/software coordination, utilizing MBSE, Cameo modeling, and SCFTA for system design. We conduct rigorous software testing (UT, FQT, regression, FMET, SCO), assist with flight test and control room operations, and provide data analysis, customer demonstrations, and proposal content. Through agile processes, planning, and peer reviews, we aim for technical excellence and mission success across various roles. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our ADP Tactical Software team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field, along with 5+ years of hands-on experience in bare metal and vehicle-level software development. This role requires a strong understanding of software interface design, including networked communication protocols for integration testing and hardware interfaces for system integration. You will be responsible for contributing to the development and integration of embedded and vehicle system software for advanced tactical platforms, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a Computer Science minor
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in bare metal and vehicle-level software development
  • Strong working knowledge of software interface design, including networked communication protocols for integration testing and hardware interfaces for system integration
  • Experience with C/C++ software development
  • UDP networking and software integration
  • Development on a Linux OS
  • Experience developing software for vehicle systems
  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance or have current Secret clearance
