As a software engineer on the Microsoft Intune team, you’ll help build scalable, secure, and user-focused solutions that empower IT administrators to protect corporate data while ensuring user privacy. Microsoft Intune is deeply integrated with Microsoft’s cloud ecosystem, including Azure, and plays a critical role in helping businesses, governments, and educational institutions defend against modern security threats such as data leakage, malicious applications, and device compromise.
We are looking for a highly motivated engineer with strong computer science fundamentals who brings fresh ideas and can help define and build the next generation of cloud-based services to power the rapid growth of our customers. You will work on the latest technologies in cloud computing to solve major technical challenges like high elastic scale, working with big data, and innovating on a world-class distributed systems platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Rust, or Python.
• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Rust, or Python.
• OR equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in C# and .Net.

Responsibilities

• We are a group of supportive team players, working on critical and strategic projects at Intune. The projects require engineers who can deliver robust designs and code across both backend microservices and front-end experiences. In addition, engineers will be working in a fast-paced agile environment and need to be able to debug and optimize work across numerous services and teams.

• You will be designing, building, and running cloud services at high scale and availability to enable customers to bring their devices into and be managed by the Intune ecosystem.
