Within the ISu0026T organization's SAP Development Team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting essential enterprise applications and constructing the technical backbone that drives Apple's core functions-including Sales, Retail, Services, Finance and Operations-serving our Business, Partners, and Consumers. We are on the lookout for an experienced SAP ABAP Support Engineer for developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining business applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in improving system reliability and security through influential design contributions. SAP Development Global Support team is responsible for the upkeep of multiple ABAP, HANA, Java, SAP Portal, UI, iOS applications.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Performance Tuning for ABAP and CDS, HANA applications
  • Ability to collaborate closely with Functional Consultants to drive issues to closure
  • Flexibility to participate in rotational on-call support schedule and respond to production issues immediately
  • Knowledge of SAP technologies/frameworks such as SAPUI5 and SAP BTP Services
  • Experience in Production Support projects
  • Knowledge of SAP SqlScript for HANA
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI
  • Knowledge of debugging web applications using browser dev tools like Chrome DevTools

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring support quality and ensuring process adherence
  • Identifying technical improvement areas for teams and/or individuals for effective support
  • Identifying automation opportunities and implementing such efforts
  • On-call support during assigned time and attending to production issues timely
  • Interacting with SAP Support Functional, BASIS, and Security teams regularly
  • Issue management, proactive system monitoring, upgrades, and minor enhancements
