About The Position

The Software Engineer Salesforce at Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc. is responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce applications. This role serves as a crucial liaison between engineering and business teams, translating business requirements into effective code. The engineer will oversee the integration of Salesforce solutions with other technology platforms, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the architectural health of projects while driving consistency across the portfolio.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer Salesforce-related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and programs through design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce applications.
• Serve as a liaison between engineering and business in translating business requirements into working code.
• Ensure engineering accountability for solutions using the extended Salesforce platform.
• Plan and execute integrations and microservice architectures between Salesforce.com solutions and other technology platforms.
• Mentor software engineers with different levels of expertise.
• Lead design and application development in Salesforce Clouds.
• Collaborate and drive engagement within multiple Community of Practices regarding Salesforce Clouds and API management.
• Oversee and improve project architectural health, including customization, security, performance, and integration.
• Identify re-use opportunities by partnering with global peers to drive consistency across the portfolio.
• Continuously improve developer experience and development lifecycle of Salesforce.com products and its integrations.
