About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or related field; advanced degrees may offset some experience requirements.
• 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering; level of responsibility may be matched to experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud deployments and serverless frameworks, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
• Strong understanding of GitLab CI/CD and automated testing/deployment workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive, self-motivated approach.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end systems using languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Build, deploy, and optimize applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with serverless frameworks.
• Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and server-side logic to support reliable, efficient system functionality.
• Implement database solutions, including schema design, queries, and optimization for relational and non-relational databases.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Monitor and debug technical issues across the stack, improving system reliability and user experience.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and client stakeholders to align project objectives and delivery.
