SAIC is dedicated to building the next generation of software solutions for our Software Delivery Services team. We are seeking a passionate Senior Principal Software Engineer who is a self-motivated fast learner and thrives in a collaborative team environment. Position can be worked 100% remote within the US. As a technical leader on an Agile / DevSecOps Team for the Delivery Services group, selected candidate will serve on a highly skilled and motivated team responsible for the assessment, design and implementation of software solutions in a variety of applications and integrated system solutions across the SAIC Business Groups. DevSecOps Teams at SAIC are responsible for initiating new project startups, participating in technical demonstrations in support of bids and proposals, supporting existing project surge needs, as well as IR D solution development. The Innovation Office is currently expanding to support project startups for the recently awarded US Air Force contract, as well as supporting prototype solution development for bid demonstration for a potential US Army award. The candidate will work on several outstanding technology opportunities, including tactical data links for the US Army, as well as tactical cloud-computing integration for the US Marine Corps, US Army, US Air Force, and Civilian opportunities. Candidate will be required to collaborate with other Agile / DevSecOps Team members and engineers across the Innovation Office for use case development, solution design, software development activities, and general integration. As expected, candidate will be developing using an Agile development environment, using various DevSecOps tools, and is expected to serve as the technical leader in this team environment.
