About The Position

Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace. What you'll do Build Sierra’s platform. At Sierra, we believe agent development is an evolution of software development that needs new tools and processes, and we’re on the frontier of inventing those. Scale with growth. Our software, capabilities, and practices must continue to scale as we grow, including serving infrastructure, tooling, and development processes. Form the foundation of trust. Requirements

• A passion for being on the frontier of AI products.
• Pride in building reliable, maintainable, and secure systems that scale.
• Motivation and high-agency to drive outcomes - we have a high-autonomy culture and each team member has lots of agency to overcome obstacles and achieve customer impact.
• Alignment to our company values throughout your work, notably finding a balance between Craftsmanship, Customer Obsession, and Competitive Intensity.
• 4+ years hands-on experience building production products and systems.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building AI-powered products.
• Experience with data engineering, MLOps, and LLMOps.
• Comfortable building and shipping full-stack solutions.
• Experience with React, Typescript, and Go.
• Leadership experience on technical projects or teams.
