About The Position

We are Lockheed Martin Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated and capable Software Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of advanced analytics solutions for platform performance metrics. This is a hands-on technical role where you will contribute across the solution lifecycle — from requirements analysis and implementation through integration, testing, and deployment. A successful candidate will possess a solid foundational understanding of software engineering concepts and will apply that knowledge to solve a variety of technical problems. They will work under general supervision, receiving direction on assignments while exercising increasing independence as they build proficiency. Their work will be reviewed regularly to support professional growth and quality assurance. The selected candidate will work as an active contributor within a cross-functional engineering organization, engaging in technical discussions and implementation tasks alongside experienced engineers. This position requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, customer stakeholders, and program leads to ensure deliverables meet stakeholder requirements, cybersecurity constraints, and technical performance objectives. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field Experience with Python, C++, or C#, with familiarity in OOP principles, APIs, and basic design patterns Experience with the software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking) Experience using agile software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitLab) Must be a US Citizen. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500 - $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. Requirements
